My loverly kitty finally makes her first debut(appearance)! This is Luna, who I'm sure you'll all be seeing much more of in the future. I love taking pictures of her because of her beautiful eyes (yes, they're real)and her tolerence for me with a camera in her face. I know entering cats in here is kinda risky, especially if the voters don't like cat pics...like me.
I have definitely been waiting for a challenge like this because I got to use my favorite editing tool called "soft glow." I don't have photoshop, so I didn't use gausemer blur, or whatever it's called, nor did I use nylon like many people were suggesting. Nope, just a good old fashion snapshot, then brought down brightness, brought up color and contrast, then added my soft glow...and poof! There you have it. I think some people may critisize that it looks blurry or they don't like the composition, but hey it's better than what I was GOING to enter...a flower.

I think animals are a good choice of subject for soft focus, this is a nice picture, the blue in the eyes is lovely and I think you have just the right amount of softness :o)
