 Grabbed my climbing gear from past climbs, and staged this in the backyard, adding fill flash.
(Exposure, contrast, levels, color and saturation, cropped, resized, sharpened added border and one last levels adjust)

I like the rope that is in focus, but I am a little distracted by the white and red on the right side of the shot. 6

Nice color, and I like the background. While the background is blurred by DOF, it's still identifiable and is applicable to the image theme (plus, it matches your title, or vice-versa). Only negative I can see you getting on this is the image is pretty much split down the middle. Good luck in the challenge.

I like your picture, maybe the red stuff at the background could be eliminated because it's drawing too much attention. I will give you a 7 though.
