I took this at the beach, I didn't add the golden color at all, It was just there! A light breeze ruffled the model's hair and made it look wavy (it was really stick staight). Ah... another sunset on the beach.

nice simple composition demonstrates an understanding of the proportions of a profile. Hair and flora provide interesting textures. the condensed visual information of a profile juts out from the center, perfectly shaped into areas of light and dark by the angle of sunlight. 9
There is no soft focus here. Soft focus has a misty character with the edges softened and bright areas turned like fog. It results of light difusion before the lens. This picture is only using a shallow DOF.
