Hopefully I won't find this pic as roadkill along the DNMC Nazi Highway!
For me, thinking about how my children have grown (like lightning!) and thinking about what the future might hold for them is magic & mystery. Little miracles that were given to me - such incredible blessings. I hang on so tight and yet have so little control all at the same time. Being a parent is certainly full of magic & mystery.
This is my special little man with the toy of all toys - the STICK! Snapped this while taking a lovely walk with my family this morning. Was thinking maybe Free Study but then decided it could work for Mystery - after all there were only 63 entries when I submitted this...much better odds than Free Study!

Thought this would finish a little higher. Again, fine pic and one that met the spirit of the challenge, even if not the most literal interpretation. Keep em coming!
If this is a picture of your own child keep in mind that every mother (parent for that matter) tends to think every picture of their child is interesting but for the rest of us they are usually average photos without a lot of interest.
Well except for those two guys who labeled this as a fav and the 52 people who voted it a 7 or above. Oh yeah and no 1s or 2s to boot. Rocking picture woman! We shall keep this one in view FOREVER!!!
Even the tenuous connection to the challenge(at least in the spirit i used to interpret) doesn't detract from this nicely composed, effectively processed, and interesting photo. Very cute, and the stick in the hand is the perfect prop/accessory. Who wouldn't look at this photo and wonder where this young man is headed. Good work and good luck!
Doesn't seem to meet the challenge. If this is a picture of your own child keep in mind that every mother (parent for that matter) tends to think every picture of their child is interesting but for the rest of us they are usually average photos without a lot of interest.
This is a nice image, and I got the mystery angle immediately from the image. The title is a bit heavy-handed for me; I prefer titles to be icing on the cake, not the tool to explain why the image fits. Just one opinion, of course ... 6.
Funny how this image that in itself holds no mistery finds an echo in my soul and sets my (childhood) dreams free. the light is too fresh for a land of different composure, yet the child's play gives me the broad view
It is a mystery isn't it? Strong emotive image you've put together here, at least for parents. We've all been there. Technically it's put together just fine. Well done!
