I cried when I saw this young man on the beach. He was doing his very best to make it through the sand, but was struggling. I was glad I was able to capture a smile. I think he was an angel... who's courage was meant to inspire us all.
Great shot and I have to say I love the fact that you did not enter it into a challenge. This is a picture that we should look at to admire and inspire, not to mark
GREAT picture... GREAT title. You have a knack for getting incredible shots, then finding the most perfect and creative titles for them. Yet another powerful gem from your collection... you are about to make me retire my camera ;)
This is a very nice shot. The shot itself is fantastic but the post processing really makes it. This would have done very well in the pastel challenge.
this is a very well done image indeed. the bright strong colours work well to counteract the possibly cloying sentimentality that could have happened with this shot. the composition is good, clean and simple. the lines leading into the walker echo the horizon, and surf. the straight processing also helps to make this a real boy, not a symbol of fortitude, or suffering etc.
I just burst into tears when I saw the determination and smile on this little boys face! What a catch! Makes anyone who ''thinks'' they have problems pale by comparison. Thanks for sharing!
For someone so young, I am in awe of how you felt, when taken this candid emotional shot, and I feel it is a true "emotive and
inspirational, and also very moving image..... It almost look like a print.
I really love this one, and it goes into my favorites, as that is where it belongs..... Well done Shannylee13
A very moving image, he certainly looks as though he is determined to get wherever he's going! The soft colours and beautiful light on the sand really add to this scene. You have captured a part of life that some may have just walked on by and you have done it very well. Thank you for sharing this.
Wow! It's sad, powerful, beautiful and inspiring. I say inspiring because despite his "disabilty", he seems to be enjoying his day at the beach and is not scared to venture out.
