I’m assuming you have a bad camera judging by the quality of the photo. As far as the idea it was good. Should have had a dark color underneath.

These M&Ms look odd to me. Were they old or did the camera not capture them well? What are they on top of?

A sharper picture would give more interest to the photo. The bright colors help to make the shot pop out of the image.

Everything looks out of focus to me in this shot. Interesting idea though.

a little too grainy...also it looks like you used the cameras flash - if you use a fill flash or a bright overall lighting scheme you can avoid the flash glare on all the m&m's. nice textured looking background. but all that aside its a good pic that could be stronger with better focus.
