The most commonly photographed peaks in all of North America. The Maroon Bells, near Aspen, Colorado.

Thank you all for your wonderful comments.
To address a couple points about the centered composition. Sometimes in landscape photography, compositional choices are limited. I could have swung to the left or right a bit, but the Bells would have always been "centered" . That's the landscape. Nature photography isn't as much about following "rules" as it is about showing a scene faithfully. There's a very necessary distinction that needs to be made when judging images...a portrait is different than a studio shot is different than a macro is different than a landscape. Context is important, and different "rules" apply to each.

Jeeeez. . .this is so underrated. You can't get any better photography than this! But to finish this strong in a challenge like this is still incredibly impressive!!!
Absolutely SPECTACULAR!!!!!! This is a flawless, stunning photo that is material for one of those high priced coffee table books! Not to mentioned it should be a framed print showcasing Colorado's beauty selling everywhere! No brainer 10! :)
Classic landscape done to perfection as only you can Mr H ;) This is sure to be a top ranked entry. You can almost hear a pin drop in this beautifully portrayed scene.
I like the reflection and how the light shines on the distant mountain tops, the balance of the exposure.
What I don't like is that it looks very centered.
Brilliant idea and well shot, but the composition is far too centered. I would have gone more to the side of the lake or turned the camera a little to one side.
