What a great excuse to finally go see the salt flats - I'm going again! They are cool!
Rode for 2 hours - shot for 10 minutes - rode back. Wind howling at 50 mph as I shot and rode back - making this the perfect adventure. Great fun.
Shot with my SB800 handheld using the remote shutter release - camera is sitting on the salt flats with the lens resting on the sippy cup lid (brought the peas in a sippy cup with a lid on it).

No idea how this will do - but it was fun getting it.

This image is so surreal. I love it. The sunrays from behind the mountain create such a nice effect. The foreground is very unusual and interesting. Great humor with the "wandering" peas. That second one looks like the salt is getting to him...starting to wrinkle. Nice lighting and great composition. Hope it does well!
