Lovely portrait, it's a shame the background isn't more photogenic though. I feel that there isn't enough contrast between the dog and the background, and the stray compositional elements at the top (the grass and object at top left) detract from the shot. The woman's skin tone seems a bit underexposed to me... I'd have been tempted to correct this with a curves adjustment in Photoshop. 6
