I wasn't too interested in this contest, because I thought I'd never photograph "life". It's just too philosophical to capture. But today, I talked my friend at stopping at this cometary that houses a lot of historic graves. I just wanted to shoot some. Well, I happened upon this grave and I thought the shot would be cool. Now, that I'm here looking through the photos, I sit here pondering...isn't life about leaving something for the next generation?

I'm not sure there is a cogent statement being made here, but if I'm wrong and there is, I don't like it. To me, the title is flippant and makes a statement that life is cheap. It's insensitive. I also don't like the use of bright colors or the flag here. I think the use of B&W would have been more appropriate.
