Too much light and contrast for me. Perhaps too much 'texture' going on. The building or wood in the background sort of takes away from the subjects. Ruthann
You are ooh so right! Some of the rocks appear out of focus. The white in the daisys is almost lost in the sky and the geraniums seem overly red (often is the case, those devils!). Maybe tooo many textures being demonstrated. 6 Swash
Nice flowers, good foreground texture. I do not deduct points because of supposed "cliche" photography. I'm voting down a little here because the sky color is weak and for some reason, the depth of the picture just stops behind the red flowers. Not sure why or how to fix it. 6 nards656
I think this particular photo would be better suited to this challeng if the lava rocks in the foreground were the subject of the photo... They are also not within your current depth of field. The texture on this rocks is quite nice and could have been a better image if they were just made the subject rather than the flowers... = 5 - jmsetzler
