 This image was taken underground in a crib room. Whilst there was only the light of the mens cap lamps...there was a whiteboard behind this man.

Wow, very emotive shot. The graininess of the shot, his expression and the lighting all work to make you feel what a tough job it must be to work as a miner. Well done!

I REALLY like this. Almost has a pastel portrait quality to it. VERY nice! The use of negative space just pulls your eye right to him. I love 3/4 profiles too.
