Whispering Woods

today is yet another wonder
okay, so the poetry isnt that good. But I really like this image and hope you do too.
Shot in color, but with the intention of converting to B/W, with all it\'s grayscale possibilities. This turned out pretty much as I had envisioned it when I came across the scene.

I think I just about like anything in black & white better, and this is no exception. You did a good job on the post-processing here, as there is good tones without going to extreme darkness, nor having areas over-exposed. Well-seen too. This is an interesting place, and so not boring.
The two main trees look like huge bird legs, especially with the roots exposed like that. Think the horizon is off a little. j/k
:P
Thought this was gonna' be a where's WaldoPug picture - amazingly none to be found!
i liek the roots the are very magical and earthy nice contrast too. lacks a real stand out focal point , would be good for image without a subject i think. 6
wow, those roots are cool!! nice choice of black and white and I like the contrast. all in all though, there is nothing really in this image that captures my attention. 5
