I suck at BMX. I think I'll quit shooting pictures of my friends and I riding, but since I already shot and edited this I might as well enter it...
Used sunpak 555 flash, behind the camera and to the side. Self timed, on a tripod. Editing was pretty basic, 'contrast masking', curves, levels, hue/sat, sharpen, crop.
I hope it breaks 5, but I won't be surprised if it doesn't.

The shadowing and lighting, along with the powerlines just make this too much to take in and not enough of the stopped motion to make this interesting.
Nicely put together overall. Good stopped motion (hooray). Nice clear subject. Is the lighting coming from a street lamp? You have some harsh shadows on the boys leg, yet blue skies in the background. Hmmm.
