Yikes! what a great capture of these birds almost colliding! I love great duck photos! This is awesome. I sure would have picked it to have scored higher (MUCH HIGHER) than 5.2!
Nice pan shot. You've nearly pulled it off without any blur, just a little bit of motion blur in the wings. I really like the feet and tail position of the back goose. Minor bit of noise/grain, most evident in the foreground blue. Good job leaving a little breathing room in front of the geese for them to "move into". If this was tack sharp I think it would rise to the top. As is, you'll still do pretty well with it. Good luck in the challenge.
tough shot. i see where you're going, but don't think you're there, yet. i think once you're free of the dpc challenge constraints, you'll be able to go back and shoot this the way you really want to capture it, a little sharper, a little more definition on the birds, a little less motion. who knows, maybe it already has what you want, but because of size limitations, we just can't see it...
