From RAW: really very little PP in the end, even though I used hue/sat, selective color/ and brightness/contrast; all adjustments were small. The most noticeable adjustment is to use selective color in the white channel to lightly tint the hot spot at the top.
Resize, USM, border, save for web. All this detail makes it quality 72, hope that's enough.

the amount of details and colour is amazing, keeping my eyes busy in a good way. I also liked the distortion, it makes the photo appear more interesting at first glance.
Way to go making bits and pieces look so beautiful and appealing! This is not only great for the challenge -- but an appealing great photo on its own as well!
I really like the editing here and of course the lighting is great.
Btw, I just noticed you and sherpet shot seashells and I seriously thought about shoot that also but went in a different direction. Had I not Team Outcasts would have to be renamed to Team Seashells. :P
I love the composition in this picture and, overall, it is one of my favorite in this challenge; probably because I live by the ocean and have seen the shells in this light often. Nice entry.
