All I have is the title, none of my not so good ideas worked. Sooooo, I'm punting and doing the bamboo along with 200 other people.

I tried getting the leftermost leaf to curve up, thus creating a most pleasing leading line. It was not to be and I didn't want to start dinking around with tape and nuts and bolts so I present it as is.

For the sake of brevity, I'll supply a title link.

--- Bamboo Uses ---

"In the past bamboo was central to life in many cultures. This was especially true in Asian countries. A Chinese farmer may have lived in a bamboo house, sat in a bamboo chair, and eaten food stored and prepared in bamboo containers. He may have used bamboo mats for flooring, beds, and covers. His sandals would have been made from bamboo and his hat woven from split bamboo. His livestock would have been in bamboo cages and pens and a bamboo fence would have enclosed his yard. The shoots of his bamboo might make up part of his meal which was eaten with bamboo chopsticks. A fisherman might use a raft made from bamboo that used bamboo for it's sails and ropes. Tools would have been made from bamboo or used bamboo as handles.

Today things have changed but bamboo is still used in the same way in many rural cultures and hundreds of new uses have been found for bamboo. No other plant has as many uses and impacted so many cultures in so many ways. This page will grow over time as we explore the ways bamboo has been used in past and is used today." -jmbamboo.com/auses.htm

The best use is, of course, a Winston Bamboo Fly Rod. Once you go bamboo ... oh, my. Oh my. And Winston makes the best fly rods in the world. If you'd like to debate the point I'll meet you on the water.

Very nice job meeting the challenge. The colors and subject matter are minimal, as is the use of light. Not too much happening here to make the eye work when searching the photo for details. Great job from the 'Great Job Baggie'!

Like the use of negative space and the backlit leaves... not crazy about the neon green border though.
