A koan, of course, is a story shared by zen practitioners that helps seekers gain understanding. Such stories are often paradoxes, or statements of the transcendence of duality. But in ruminating on the stories, one can find a certain piece of enlightenment.
So for this image, I wanted to create a sort of image-based koan on which one could reflect and find peace. I hope it worked!

I'm really a fan of this. Some people might be sick of it, but I still see beauty in the water droplet. I love the diagonal sense of it. I wish it were a single stem,making it less busy, but the colors and reflection are beautiful.
