This is one of the most beautiful landscape images Ive seen, rich in blue and green tones with a great foreground in a lovely composition. Without being too critical I find the pottery a little imposing amidst all the beautiful surroundings, so I probably would have cropped it out. None the less a magnificant image. Cheers. Robert Woolrich.
This really is my favorite so far. It belns the themse nicely and the exposure is spot on with good deatil in both the foreground and the sky. Nicely done!
This is a simply breathtaking landscape that has some very fine elements that depict a sense of zen and some fabulous contrasts. Most particularly of interest to me is the contrast of the stillness of the lake against the rough rocks and the earthy colors of the lake/grass versus the coolness of the sky. There are a lot of points of interest here and each one of them have been rendered exceptionally well technically. The low light really helps set the mood and there is a nice stillness and sense of calm. I don't however get that inner zen feeling from viewing the image but I think its exquisite all the same. I gave a 7.
Very, very busy photo. Looks to be a bit oversharpened and there is simply too much for they eye to focus on. Shallower DOF maybe, cutting off right behind that little ornament. Overall it's just too busy (and a bit too dark) to promote the sense of serentiy, balance and harmony that is the goal of the challenge. 4.
Very pleasant depth of field and colours. The rocks are a little too new and freshly cut to be truly zen in nature. But you did not build the location for the shot! 8.
