 Isaac's choice for dessert tonight was this zebra-striped pastry.

-Incandescent light
-WB = Tungsten
-Handheld, macro mode
-Cropped to square
-Cloned out a couple of small specks and specular highlights
-Noise-reduction with PictureCooler
-RGB Curve
-Resize for DPC
-USM at 88%/0.8 dia/TH = 5
-SaveAs JPEG at quality 9/10 = 135kb

I believe the intention of the challenge was to take a b&w photo in color mode. This is why desaturation was discouraged. I don't think the challenge was to shoot a color photo with b&W in it. It may be a suttle difference of interpretation. On the other hand, this looks delicious. :-)
