Oh my. I hope this is a pet and not just something you find crawling in your yard. Nice shot and color on color but the background blowouts are a bit distracting.
That is one knarly looking spider! His legs match the wood perfectly. I'm generally not a fan of the subject being so centered, but it works really well in this case (must be the angle and position of the wood). Very nice.
Wish the lighting weren't so flat. A few shadows under the spider would add more interest. Interesting face on the creature. Good job on blurring background.

that is one frightening bug! It would be a great photo to put in a book about spiders. Kids love reading things like that. Good focus and dynamic picture.
