Funny how DOF works sometimes. ;^) The rose looks nice and I like the bg used - one minor thing, since this was advanced editing why didn't you apply a little blur to the bottom right corner and zap those lines in the bg out?
Very pretty with beautiful color.
My only complaint is the DOF at the low right corner. It'd be better if it was completely unfocused and i wouldn't have been able to see the fabrics? texture.
Very nice pinks. I like the subtle texture in the background and the rose itself. I think I would prefer a shallower DOF to really blur up those leaves and maybe even the half of the rose.
Nice colors and good separation of subject from background. I think it would have been nice if you could have blurred out that little bit of texture in the bottom right corner as I find it minorly distracting. I also think I might have preferred the green leaves left out but maybe that would be too boring.
