i love the picture but i think this does not meet the challenge because it is not just black and white. lots of blues and a tinge of red...still, a great shot!

Awesome shot! I would have bet this was from Iceland, not Australia. Love the softness of the water and the sky created by the exposure, and the bit of orange/red on the horizon is perfect - makes the shot. Nice work!

Very nice photo but I think it doesn't fits well in B&W in Color. The attention goes to the red horizon.

If you had adjusted the blue down just a bit in post processing this would have looked more like a B&W (Not sure if that is legal for this challenge). I consider this a minor issue but I'm afraid it could hurt your score with the DNMC crowd. A minor issue with me and places in my top 10.
