beautiful. it looks like an eruption because the rock looks like it's only a shadow. layers of beach, ocean, rock, eruption, sky, cloud all build on one another to create what is actually a serene eruption. 9

There's no real black and very little with but the grays between have produced an incredible image. You can almost hear the wave crashing against the rock. Well done!

The frame seems excessive and sort of steals away the dramatic scene within. If I ignore the frame, I really like the shot , and would only suggest burning the shadows a bit to bring out more texture of the clouds and water.
