I had a hard time thinking of something for the gold challenge. First doing some sweetcorn, maybe something like road paved in gold. Then while at the grocery store, I spied the Rolos. I love Rolos so, here's my gold entry.

I'm not sure about your choice to have the DOF shallow and focused on the mid-ground. The lighting here is great! The idea here is interesting - coin-like shapes that aren't actually coins.
