Not the worst that I have seen, but it's a butt shot. By the way, spiders are arachnids, not insects. If I were trying to get a good shot of this spider, however, I would get in front of it rather than "behind" it. The man-made and unnatural roof background detracts from the subject.
I think 'I Like Big Butts' would be a better title. This might be a more interesting photo if the spider wasn't centered. The contrasts could be enhanced as well.
Shame we can't see its face (I have many shots of spiders' backsides, and very few of ther faces - strange that). The spider is nicely on focus with the background nicely blurred. DOD looks good too.
It sure doesn't look very itty bitty!! I love your choice to photograph him from behind (or maybe you had no choice?) And I also love the way his little legs are clinging to his web. A wonderful, creative shot!!! :)
