This is nice texture but the exposure seems a little strange on this.. the 'brights' are a touch too bright for my taste... the composition is nice :) = 7 - jmsetzler

nice shot. looks like edward weston's cabbage leaf (at least I think that's who did it). you might try lighting it differently. if you lit it from the side, the texture would be brought out through shadows, and you could get rid of the reflection off the leaf (though it is kind of nice). also, you might want to hack off that mass in the lower right corner. The black and white works beautifully with the shot, though. good choice.
