I don't quite know what this is but the title leaves me thinking it's an instrument. Not only that but the image itself seems antique. You picked that up nicely.
Pixelated. Focus could have been much better. My guess is that you're using a low end camera. In that case, I reccomend learning the limitations of your camera, and working within that (trust me, I know how it is with low end cameras...)
