Challenge: On the Beach (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Canon EOS-20D
Lens: Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS
Location: Bouler Reservoir, Colorado
Date: Jul 18, 2006
Aperture: 5.6
ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/3200

Date Uploaded: Jul 18, 2006

I had been shooting skiers and jet skiers late in the afternoon and the setting sun had some nice results. I had filled my memory card so I kept having to find items to delete. Fortunately, I was able to squeeze this onto the card. Need portable memory! A small Sat boost is the only modification.

Nice shot with the sun off the water. Very cool. Says water, but not beach to me though.

Great action shot. The composition is spot on. You froze the motion well. Where is the beach?

You get a ten for finding both a boat and a skier who managed to pull off their respective duties while On the Beach. And the way that sand splashes up like that. Incredible.
