A mushroom? I think this image suffers from poor focus and uncontrolled DOF. The focus seems to be directed only to the left of the image instead of seeing it as a whole where everything is tack sharp.

very pleasing abstract. the dof creates a nice curving effect that moves the eye along the lines 8
