Great job! A pretty silhoutte shot, with absolutely STUNNING colors. The sky is serene, and the water has movement. However, a water shot, or even a shoreline shot, does not always mean 'beach' in my opinion. Since this is in black, I will imagine that it's taken on a 'beach', and score giving you the benefit of the doubt. Raising original score from a 4 to an 8, mostly because the color is extraordinary.
I'll bet that this image presents itself 100% as you intended. This image deserves to place well and if it doesn’t, it won’t be from any technical shortcomings of the image, just personal preference of the voters.
