Taken with a magnify glass in front of my lens to get a closer shot. This is the only one that turned out clear out of about 20 shots and then the dragonfly flew away never to be seen again. Hope you all like it. I am very proud of it.

Great subject and angle/composition. The white background and lighting don't look natural, though. Taken in the studio? Deeper depth of field that includes more of the wings would be an improvement, in my opinion. Specks on the leaf are reasons that I disagree with the "no spot retouching" rule. I think we should be able to eliminate those kind of imperfections. The one on the bottom appears to be a bad pixel.
This one makes me laugh. Bugs can have such interesting expressions. I think I like this one because it so clearly focuses on the subject and the colors are incredibly crisp.
I like this shot a lot. I know how difficult it is to get large DOF on macro shots, but I think this shot would totally rock if the wings were less blurred. Great job.
Interesting viewpoint and they're great subjects, but I don't think the bright background's done you any favours - i overpowers the subject. Still a nice shot, though.
I like it. Great composition, totally unusual for a dragonfly and yet instantly recognizable. Your focus is spot on and the white background helps a lot. One of my favorites of this challenge, there's nothing I'd change :)
