Not really fond of the centered composition, at least since you decided to keep it at a 3:2 crop. Had you cropped this to a 1:1 though, the centered composition would have worked IMHO. Still a nice shot and the eye is well lit and nice processing. 6 from me.

The clarity and focus of the eye, is just brilliant..... Well done, and I do hope this does well in the challenge.
