 While looking for insects in my yard, I noticed several of these boring insects skins in the side of a small mulberry sapling.

Your black background makes this look like an alien on another planet. Cool. I wish the bug were more in focus or was clearer in some way, though. Super use of contrasts and light.

Image is a bit harsh making the subject a little confusing. Looks like an interesting metamorphosis scenario here. The composition could have been improved by filling the frame more with the critter.

It's interesting, but a bit hard to tell what's going on. Good composition and nice contrast between the trunk and the background.

Amazing to find these shells. They are wonderful and so perfect in their beauty. Too bad we don't get new skin, I could use it! Nice find.
