I found a photo of my daughter Alma from late 2003 (title has 2004, a little lie, 2003, 2005, 2006 wouldn't sound the same and didn't have time to PS something more).
Anyway, PS'd her baby photo from 2003 onto her photo from june of 2005, and printed it out. Framed it and let her hold it, took a shot, cropped, adjusted saturation somewhat, lightened up with curves, resized, channel-mixed, USM 300/0.3/0, save for web, that's it!
Post challenge: Thank you all for the wonderful comments. I'll make sure to tell Alma that most of you liked the shot. Still curious about the request for original I had to submit... nothing seemed weird to me. Oh well...

this is great, it's great to see how your daughter has evolved over the years, as well as your photographic talent :D each photo gets better. great lighting, superb job
wow, this great, I don't know if you have been doing this every year with your child holding the photo or if you photoshopped this together printed one then the child hold it. Either way it is a great idea and an excellent representation of the challenge topic. I can also see your progression as a photographer through these images as well.
good idea, nicely made, i would only cut the top of the kids head as there is too much space for the eye to wonder and there i nothing to see up there 7
I LOVE the concept of this picture! The lighting is great, you have a perfect catch-light in her eyes, and the composition leads you from past memories into the present. :) The only thing that may have bumped this picture even higher for me is if contrast/levels had been used just a little more to help it "pop" a little more (it seems just a bit low in contrast, though that may just be my monitor... ;) ). Great job!
