It doesn't look like he's losing his balance to me; therefore, doesn't fit the challenge (IMO).

interesting contraption. i'd like to see him playing it. nice capture and good use of b/w, but feel that your title is the only thing that relates this to the 'oops' challenge. maybe he was off balance, but in the image, he looks perfectly balanced..
