I like the composition ... good use of the "rule of thirds" ... I will agree with the previous poster regarding a slight brightening to bring out more details in the shadows ... cool image!

I love the composition/angle ... but maybe you could brighten up the entire image just a tad. Another thing could be to crop the lower left fungi out of the image ... this could put the focus more on the slug.
