I had a great opportunity to go down to Laguna Beach for yesterdays fire works. I thought I would bring my camera just in case. I got there and went out on their patio and you could see 180-degree view of the ocean. Just after dinner I set up shop on the roof of the house. Forgetting my tripod I used the chimney to steady my shot and waited.

Well done. I like the context of the bay better than just showing a burst. In a weird way it looks like a scene from Blade Runner. The burst on the right is a bit blown out which is a bit distracting. And the horizon is tilted. Without those distractions, this would be a 10. Still worth a very good score.
Beautiful. Great place to take the photo from and well executed. Slightly spoiled by the crooked horizon, I would have rotated it slightly clockwise. Nice job though, I'm giving you a 7.
