I really like the deep blue sky, and how you have composed this shot. It makes the old boat look interesting, and not just a relic laying around somewhere.
The multitude of textures make this a great photograph. Everything from the peeling paint, to the rusting metal, to the left behind imprints, and even the clouds come together to make a artistic photograph. The only negative comment I have is that I think the sharpening may have been a bit overdone. But you could not do any better in any other area. *9* -bryan
This image is an exclent example of how harsh lighting from direct or cloudy bright sun can iluminate the detail in weathered wood. "K205" I wonder if that has some historical significance? One of my top ten picks.
Very evocative and nicely composed. Good detail on the falking paint. The deep blue of the sky and white of the boat are great together. I can almost smell the freshness of a nearby body of water.
excellent texture... excellent choice of subject as well... The only critique I have for this photo is a personal taste of mine... I would like to have seen this shot done from the exact same vantage point with the camera rotated about 15 or 20 degrees to the left to create a stronger diagonal in the image... great shot :) = 9 - jmsetzler
