Normally I shoot in the 'failthful' settings of camera, but for this challenge I had to define an user setting with high sharpness, contrast and saturation, the images looked way too saturated in the lcd, I played with different saturation settings and kept clicking, picked whichever worked best on my monitor.

Wow! So much contrast straight from camera. Congrats for the ribbon. Your images keep me motivated :) Also, your entry in the flowers challenge was awesome and deserved a ribbon as well.
Wonderful shot and congrats on the ribbon...you swam against the tide by entering a flower after a HUGE flower challenge and voter 'flower voting fatigue' and you succeeded by landing on the winners podium!!! wonderful! i love everything about it. the colors are so nice and rich, the contrast is perfect and the composition is spot on. these are things that you don't see very often in straight from the camera, so congrats to you! :D
Back to comment... Pretty brave entering a flower in this challenge with a flower challenge going on! Awesome job, btw! I gave this a 10 in voting (the only flower I gave a 10 to in this challenge at that). The colors are vibrant and the reflection is perfect. Great job!
This is my highest scoring flower shot in this challenge. The colors and sharpness are great. I voted quickly and came back to comment. I didnt take the time first time around to really look closely. But the ripples in the water add to this picture greatly. I expect this to do very well for you. 8.
Not voting right now, and I have only looked at like ten entries, but I can tell already this is a ribbon contender. Perfect all around. Wish mine looked like this straight out of the camera! Oh my, hope this was for the Straight and not flowers challenge!
