 A daylily, using the macro option on my point and shoot Fuji; one of many lilies on the side of a back road; taken in full sunlight which created some nice shadows...levels, curves, hue/saturation, dodged a little of the sunlight on stamens to bring out the highlights, cloned out a small piece of bud on left, unsharp mask, cropped.

Lilys are such a hoot to shoot, this one has great texture and colors as well as a nice composition.

Nice shot - you've done a good job with the natural light. Good sharpness and color. The little specs (pollen?) on the petals distract just a bit.

I think the green background distracts from the lily. It draws the eye away from the center of the flower.

great impact as soon as you see it...the greenery in the background distracts a little...perhaps if you used a black card to hide this, this flower would have really popped...but great job
