Waiting for the bus to take me to visit my Mom I walked around the area near the George Washington Bridge in NYC. I generally always look from side to side into alley ways, etc. for a possible interesting shots. Found these bright orange gloves stuck in the stairwell bannister waiting for the next time they will be called into use. The contrast of the dark stairwell and the bright orange and the story around them intrigued me.

I think you have a really good idea to work with here but it didn't quite come off in this shot. You might want to consider keeping this shot in mind for another contest where you can do more with it.
