Gotta love the Dahlias, centering works and I like the lighting on this.

Very nice shot Robert, I scored it high and think it is better than many that finished better.

very nice bear... but you never dedicate anything to moi :(.. hehe just kidding.. it is a lovely photo

very nice perspective - never thought a top-down direct shot would be so beautiful (ok, maybe coz you're holding the camera, lol). Nice soft colours here. Love it!

Well done Robert, and really like this one mate..... I flopped in flowers so I think I have let the team down.....Sorry mate.

Robert, congratulations! The pinks really are soft and "juicy" here, very nice!

One of my ribbon picks -- like the macro, frame-filling composition a great choice

Nice capture of the flower but my preference would be for a square crop.

Excellent sharpness. I like the slightly offcenter crop.

Nice, beautiful pinks, good light, good composition (although I'm wondering if rotating to a landscape would work better, or even flipping upside down - something to try). I think the one thing I find a bit disconcerting about the image is that it is "almost" straight on, but at a slight angle, and the angle is away from where my eyes are moving (if that makes sense). It's sort of like the flower is looking in the wrong direction. (7)

Great perspective. Love how you filled the frame.

7 - Nice. Overall, just looks like it needs a fraction nudge up on the right for added 'balance'. Difficult, but even more definition in the petal tips, make this even better in my opinion. Nice color(s).

don't care for the crop - portrait style of this but the lighting is well done and the color is excellently rendered. 7
