This classic truck sits in front of a local landscaping service - I've been waiting for a challenge in which it might be used. I shot it Friday, planning to put it in Stationary. Then the speed challenge came out so I went and shot it again. With the new camera I've been shooting in RAW + small jpeg and was pretty durn impressed with the way this originally came out in straight jpeg. Just as impressed on the reshoot, though I did "up" the in-camera sharpening and contrast one notch as it was miserably overcast today.

Trading Post - Cool angle, great colors, good sharpness and an overall intersting model. Would like to see this postprocessed with the colors of the truck slightly exagerated. Good job.
Trading post...
I gave this a 7 in voting. Very vibrant color, excellent sharpness and very interesting overall. I really like the angle that you shot this on. The flowers in front also give it extra interest. Great job!
I like this photo because of the rich colors of the truck and foreground flowers as well as the PoV. I did think that the focus was a bit off (none of the lettering on the grill, license plate, or door seems sharp to me). The background is also a bit busy (the trees compete with the plants in the back of the truck) making it a bit difficult to distinguish the details of the primary subject from its surroundings. I gave this a 5 (...he says honestly while ducking to avoid being hit with one of Joe's fruit or vegetables), but I generally scored all of the photos in this challenge down a bit because most of them seemed to suffer from the inability to do a little PP.
Boy, Deb, what great colours! This is a great shot from an unusual angle, which I really like. Looks like maybe I ought to get a camera like yours! :-)
Oh, I LOVE this photo! There is not one thing you needed to do to this perfect photo editing wise. It's razor sharp. The colors are incredibly vibrant. . .but what I love the most is the composition and subject! It has a lovely, nostalgic feel to it that just feels good to look at it! I hope this does well because it's one of my favorites!
