The light is so perfect...vibrant and utilitarian against soft and organic. The more I look at it the more I like this...so simple it's nearly absurd, and I don't mean that in a bad way...nice work.
The colors are nicely saturated and the lighting works well. You might want to consider using a square crop for this picture, as the negative space on the left really doesn't add to image.
What to say...
The sock device certainly is stationary.
And so are the curtains.
Other than that the photo is lacking punch, and it doesn't grab my attention.
