Congrates on a good finish, gave this a 6 and thought the movement of the water may cost you.

I like the stationary person vs the running water, although I wish the subject was dressed more traditionally like a fisherman.

I like the luminosity and shadows. And of course I love your interpretation!

The water looks very cool here. Stationary? Not sure, I'll give benefit of the doubt.

Very nice capture!
You've gotten the technical and the abstract issues all working together nicely in order to ensure a great image. I'm convinced. *10*
Do you ever get the idea that as a photographer, we're not much different to fishermen?
I do.
All the time.
Good luck!

Back to bump. This is my favorite for the challenge. Beautifully stationary. Lovely darkness against the very cool looking water. 9

Nice shot. The fisherman seats this photo of movement into the theme of the challenge, though the water movement seems awfully strong vs the stationary fisherman.

Great shot! I like the contrast of the restless sea and the stationary person.
Good luck.

one of the best in the chalenge, i kinda wish his sweater was a lighter colour as it blends into the rocks. 9

Fantastic texture in the water and a strong composition with the arrangement of the fisherman and rocks. Very nice!

I understand the contrast between movement and stillness but I think the motion is overpowering

What a beautiful photo. Yes, the person appears to be still but that is just a tiny part of your photo. The moving water takes up most of your photo and when I look at it I do not think "stationary", but rather movement.

The longer exposure on the water makes this photograph stationary. A job well done!

I like the composition, but the contrast on the water to the fisherman makes the fisherman hard to see.
