 I was going for composition.
I knew not to place the lavender in the center so I tried to offset it using rule-of-thrids.
I also wanted to have complimentary colors.
I liked the oof lavender on the right as for me it felt as if looking from left-to-right the lavender came into sharp focus.

Nice colours but I find the b/g and the OOF part at the bottom of the flower slightly distracting.

I just love how the sharp, focused purple seems to glide right out of that beautiful bokeh background. This is beautiful and well done.
