this is a cool shot, I think it needs a little something to punch it up, maybe a crop of the top portion, just above the uppermost break in the clouds..that way it looks like more of a "struggle" as StevePax mentioned, but it doesn't give it a mundane centred subject.

Also wonder if there was a decent meeting at the horizon to be added so we could see the land to give this struggle some context.

Very intense looking. I like it!! But then again I am a nature and outdoors freak and love seeing any and all photos like these. Weather shots are so fleeting and may never see anything like it again. Nice work!

I think that the composition is perfect, and it displays a struggle for balance by the tranquil and the violent. The colors are fantastic, and the overall effect really pulls me in. See: this thread.
