... this is the view you will find as you come out of the tunnel headed to the valley... el capitan is on the left and bridalveil falls is on the right... at the far off distance, you will see the familiar silhouette of half dome...
It certainly looks like a piece of wilderness. The geological forms in the photo are all young suggesting the potential for continued activity. The etherial sky balances the rather somber conifers and rock faces.
