The mallard's blue wing feather in the lower left really gives this photo some punch. I'm guessing you shot it at an aquarium when the duck dove? How much cropping did you do? It's truly awesome - 9 crisa58 (And it's a 9 only because I feel the photos I ranked 10 were more compelling.)
I like the colors and the textures on your picture, but I'm not so sure about the composition. My eye doesn't have any place to alight on. It looks like your focus was a little off and you used too much sharpening to componsate.
Very cool! Are the white dots bubbles? I really don't know how you did this, but I really like it! I can't wait until the week is over to find out more about this shot. I hope you got "wordy" in the details section! 9 Swash
